The Danner Designs No. 001 is Danner Designs' first product and the first installment of the Outdoorsman Collection. It is a handcrafted, purpose-built knife designed with simplicity, durability, and timeless craftsmanship in mind. Each knife is made with attention to detail and built to be a dependable tool for the outdoors, hunting, camp, and everyday use.
No. 001 is crafted from 1084 high-carbon steel, a proven carbon steel valued for its toughness, edge-holding capability, and ability to be shaped and finished by hand. Unlike stainless steel, 1084 is not rust-resistant and will develop a natural patina over time if exposed to moisture. Proper care and maintenance are recommended to preserve the blade.
No. 001 marks the beginning of Danner Designs and the Outdoorsman Collection, representing the company's commitment to creating products that are thoughtfully designed, built to last, and made to be used.

The production version will offer optional wooden handle materials, allowing each customer to choose the wood and character that best suits their knife.
